Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems Operations and Training Corporation (RPASOTC) is committed to promoting aviation safety by supporting, enabling and empowering young women and men through quality education and coaching.
To avail of the $150.00 (100%) special rebate, eiligible young pilot-candidates must agree to and fulfill all the conditions listed below:
- Young pilot-candidates must be at least 14 years of age, and under 16 years of age, on the date the RPAS Ground School (Basic Operations) they have registered for is scheduled to commence;
- Eligible young pilot-candidates must pay the full amount of $150.00, plus tax at the time of registration;
- Registered and eligible young pilot-candidates must successfully pass the Transport Canada-administered online Small Basic Exam within ten (10) calendar days of completing the RPAS Ground School (Basic Operations) course;
- Upon request from RPASOTC, registered and eligible young pilot-candidates must provide a valid government-issued photo ID to verify their identity;
- Registered and eligible young pilot-candidates must provide RPASOTC with a copy of their Transport Canada-issued Pilot Certificate – Small Remotely Piloted Aircraft (VLOS) – Basic Operations issued in their name;
- After RPASOTC ascertains all criteria listed in points #1, #2, #3, #4 and #5 above have been successfully met, the special rebate amount of $150.00 will be refunded to the registered and eligible young pilot-candidate within ten (10) business days.
To avail of the $150.00 (100%) special rebate, eligible women pilot-candidates must agree to and fulfill all the conditions listed below:
- Women Pilot-candidates must be at least 14 years of age on the date the RPAS Ground School (Basic Operations) they have registered for is scheduled to commence;
- Eligible women pilot-candidates must pay the full amount of $150.00, plus tax at the time of registration;
- Registered and eligible women pilot-candidates must successfully pass the Transport Canada-administered online Small Basic Exam within ten (10) calendar days of completing the RPAS Ground School (Basic Operations) course;
- Upon request from RPASOTC, registered and eligible women pilot-candidates must provide a valid government-issued photo ID to verify their identity;
- Registered and eligible women pilot-candidates must provide RPASOTC with a copy of their Transport Canada-issued Pilot Certificate – Small Remotely Piloted Aircraft (VLOS) – Basic Operations issued in their name;
- After RPASOTC ascertains all criteria listed in points #1, #2, #3, #4 and #5 above have been successfully met, the special rebate amount of $150.00 will be refunded to the registered and eligible woman pilot-candidate within ten (10) business days.
To avail of the $50.00 special rebate, eligible pilot-candidates must agree to and fulfill all the conditions listed below:
- Pilot-candidates must be greater than 16 years of age on the date the RPAS Ground School (Basic Operations) they have registered for is scheduled to commence;
- Eligible pilot-candidates must pay the full amount of $150.00, plus tax at the time of registration;
- Registered and eligible pilot-candidates must successfully pass the Transport Canada-administered online Small Basic Exam within ten (10) calendar days of completing the RPAS Ground School (Basic Operations) course;
- Upon request from RPASOTC, registered and eligible pilot-candidates must provide a valid government-issued photo ID to verify their identity;
- Registered and eligible pilot-candidates must provide RPASOTC with a copy of their Transport Canada-issued Pilot Certificate – Small Remotely Piloted Aircraft (VLOS) – Basic Operations issued in their name;
- After RPASOTC ascertains all criteria listed in points #1, #2, #3, #4 and #5 above have been successfully met, the special rebate amount of $50.00 will be refunded to the registered and eligible pilot-candidate within ten (10) business days.
- The applicable special rebate amount will be credited back via the same means used by registered and eligible pilot-candidates when paying for their course registration (e.g. if the registration fee was paid with a credit card, the special rebate amount will be credited to the same credit card.);
- This promotion is only valid and eligible for course registrations paid for and confirmed after January 01, 2023;
- RPASOTC's decision in all matters pertaining to this special promotion, or any disputes arising in relation to this special promotion, will be final and binding to the registered pilot-candidate;
- RPASOTC reserves the right to discontinue this special promotion at any time and without any notice to registered pilot-candidates;
- RPASOTC specifically disclaims any guarantees, implied or otherwise, that pilot-candidates registered for and completing the RPAS Ground School (Basic Operations) course will be successful in passing the Transport Canada-administered Small Basic Exam;
